Our response to Covid restrictions lifting

From Monday 19th July, we enter “Step 4″ of the government’s roadmap of restriction-lifting across the country. As Coronavirus infections are currently high and rising, we have decided to keep some of our safety restrictions in place.

Whilst we are looking forward to being able to open in a more normal way, we will always put the wellbeing of our audiences, volunteers, staff, and communities first.

Therefore, we are asking our volunteers, staff, and audience members to:

• Continue to wear masks when attending our events. We will not ask you to wear a face covering if the event is outdoors.
• Be conscious of social distancing
• Continue to reduce audience capacity, at a maximum of 70%
• Continue to use hand sanitiser on arrival, and around the venue
• Book tickets in advance, and use contactless payment where possible
• Not attend an event if they are feeling unwell, or have recieved a postive Covid test

This will be financially harder for us and our venues, but we think it is the right thing to do; it is vitally important to look after those in our communities who are vulnerable or haven’t been vaccinated.

We hope that you understand and that we can relax more in the coming months. Carn to Cove will continue to evaluate the situation and will review our Covid policies as it develops.
