We were delighted to be presented with a the Tourism Event & Festival of the Year award at the annual Cornwall Tourism Awards ceremony yesterday evening!
The event was held at Healeys Cider Farm and Claire went along with Fiona Wotton, Chief Executive of Creative Kernow, and Bethany Lyne from Cornwall 365. It was a lovely evening, with lovely food and plenty of cider on tap!
Malcolm Bell from Visit Cornwall presented us with the award, which recognised the work that we had done during the pandemic to keep up the engagement and interaction with village communities in Cornwall, and to work in different ways to reach audiences and support artists.
This is dedicated 100% to all our amazing promoters, who continue to amaze us with their passion and enthusiasm for live events in their community spaces, and to all the artists who create brilliant work for rural venues. Big thanks to Cornwall Airport Newquay for Sponsoring the Tourism Event & Festival Of the Year category and to Malcolm Bell for presenting it to us – what a lovely way to end the week!
