Groundswell presents: Red Planet: Revolution! as part of BeNewquay Festival.
It’s the year 2224, and the human settlement on Mars has finally declared its independence from Earth. You have been chosen to lead the people of Mars into a new and brighter future. The decisions you make now will shape your planet’s history for generations to come. No pressure…
Created by critically acclaimed innovators Upstart Theatre, Red Planet: Revolution! is a live-action storytelling game, played in small teams… placing the power to shape society in your hands. Who will win glory? Who will be at the bottom of the pile? You thought Westminster was bad – try outer space!

@benewquayfestival – a brand new month-long season of events, activities and workshops that celebrate Newquay’s culture and creative spirit.
The festival is brought to you by Cornwall Council project ‘Experience Newquay’ in collaboration with local project partners Visit Newquay and Love Newquay. Experience Newquay is a two-year project (due to run until March 2025) from Cornwall Council and funded by the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Good Growth Programme. The project aims to encourage a resilient year-round visitor economy, put a spotlight on the low season and embrace Newquay’s unique identity. Designed to attract an even flow of local and national visitors who sustainably engage with the town throughout the year. The project is part-funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. Cornwall Council has been chosen by Government as a Lead Authority for the fund and is responsible for monitoring the progress of projects funded through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
