QOW TRIO are a modern jazz trio inspired by the classic tenor sax trio albums released by Sonny Rollins in the 1950s, but moving beyond their influences to present a wide range of modern jazz from Lester Young to John Coltrane to Dewey Redman the most up to date sounds of today. They are a truly multi-generational outfit with a wealth of experience and deep authentic roots in the tradition. Their setlist includes classic standards and lesser known material, all treated with a super engaging verve, free-ranging group improvisation and a big helping of swing.
