The film ‘I Was Born, But…’ made by renowned Japanese director Yasujiro Ozu in 1932,  is one of the masterpieces of the silent era -beautiful, funny and profound.
Kevos play music specially commissioned by composer Ed Hughes, live to the film for its 80 minute duration.
Hughes’ delicate music perfectly captures Ozu’s touching story of the different generations of a Tokyo family navigating a fast changing world.

Kevos features some of Cornwall’s finest musicians, all sharing a passion for performing new music.

Doors & Licensed Bar from 7.00pm, start time 8.00pm.

The event ends about 9.30pm.  Plenty of time to catch the train back to Plymouth. Calstock Arts is only a few minutes walk from Calstock Rail Station.
