Join choreographer Kesha Raithatha and film maker G Sian for a screening of their film Virtual Ghost; a work which plays with and challenges ideas of how South Asian women’s bodies are present in public spaces.
In partnership with Creative Arts East, we took Kesha and G on a virtual tour of Newlyn and Kings Lynn earlier in the summer – and this is the premiere of a suite of 8 short films that sees Kesha embedded, superimposed and dancing on iconic architectural buildings in those towns.
Facilitated by Ian Abbott, Virtual Ghost x Newlyn x Kings Lynn is a livestreamed event that explores public space, digital architecture and the creative interventions that can be made.
There is no charge for the event, but you will need to book a ticket in advance so you can join in by zoom. You will be given access to the Virtual Ghost film from 18th September, but the new films featuring Newlyn and Kings Lynn will be premiered on 23rd September.
