Jack Dean is a poet, playwright, performer and composer. His work tells stories that wander the lands between myth, memory and history. This raucous new show with live music tells the story of England’s forgotten revolution.
In 1817 Jeremiah Brandreth and a crew of malcontents from Nottingham hatched a plan to march on London, overthrow the government, wipe out the National Debt and end poverty forever.
Featuring an original score and live band, Jeremiah tells the incredible true story of the much-misunderstood Luddite rebellion.
‘Impressive poetic, musical and narrative skills…undoubtedly a performer with an exciting career ahead of him’ // EXEUNT
