Carn to Cove is run by Creative Kernow, a registered charity which supports the cultural and creative sector in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. Our mission is to enrich and energise communities through investment in the creative arts and industries. For 40 years, we have contributed to positive social and economic change which has had regional and national impact. Participation in the arts is proven to improve health, confidence and community cohesion. Our approach – co-creating culture with communities – builds strong foundations for positive change.
Carn to Cove empowers dedicated local volunteers to curate and promote amazing creative work and performances in their local communities. This gives rural communities access to reasonably priced performances, a stone’s throw from their homes. No travelling hours to get to the theatre!
We value kindness, creativity, difference, professionalism and emergence and aim to embed these attributes in all our activity and thinking.
