Looking for an interruption to the everyday? Well the Grimm Sisters are coming your way!
Catch Mitzi and Brunhilda roaming the streets of Launceston, with their backpack basket bursting with stories, music and mischievous games. If you see them then come say hello, hear a tiny tale or watch their raucous antics from afar.
If you don’t catch them as they walk about or would prefer to watch their static show, they will be performing later in the day in a single location
This year, Scratchworks Theatre Company will take you by the socially-distanced hand and lead you gently outdoors to discover a joyful & mischievous interruption to the everyday.
You know the Brothers Grimm?
The famous storytellers…or story stealers more like! Their sisters were the true brains behind the books, but thanks to a treacherous father, a nasty curse and a great big dollop of bad luck, you’ve probably never heard of them.
Join them on the journey as they tell their twisted tales with a marvellous mix of comedy, singing & live music.
The company is creating a show that is flexible to the needs of your audience at this complicated time, using outdoor spaces, adaptable run times, and an option for a performance postal service for those shielding.
This event will be non-ticketed and free of charge
The walkabout performance starts at The Town Hall at 1pm
The static performance will take place at the Parade Ground and at starts at 2:30pm
