A special fund-raising celebrity piano recital to launch a project to raise funds for a touring piano for Cornwall

Piano Go Round is the appeal to provide a first class grand piano that will be available for villages, music societies, young performers at an affordable price. Currently hire & transport costs make the programming of song, chamber, keyboard and piano music of concert quality difficult for rural communities. Administered here at Carn to Cove, the piano will be available for booking by partners and will be based in a Cornish venue as a permanent feature.

This concert is to raise funds to provide a concert grand at cost affordable to village halls and thus improve concert experiences across Cornwall for the future.

Pianist William Howard is one of Britain’s leading concert pianists. He is generously giving this fund-raising recital to support the first Piano Go Round tour which he will present for Carn to Cove in Autumn 2020. William is well known in Cornwall for the residency his Schubert Ensemble of London held for three years at the Hall for Cornwall. This concert is a preview of his USA concert tour programme which follows this performance.
