Renowned violinist Krysia Osostowicz performs a classical concert along with British pianist Nicola Eimer.
Krysia and Nicola will celebrate 250 years since Beethoven’s birth by performing “Spring” Sonata op 24 in F. They will also perform “Spring” by Huw Watkins, Chopin’s Nocturne for solo piano and Cesar Franck’s Violin Sonata in A.

Krysia Osostowicz (violin) has enjoyed a long career in solo and ensemble playing, and is much respected as a teacher of violin and chamber music. She is the founder of the Dante Summer Festival, based in the Tamar Valley. Born in London of Polish descent, Krysia studied at the Yehudi Menuhin School, King’s College Cambridge and in Salzburg with the great Hungarian violinist Sandor Vegh. She has collaborated with artists such as Steven Isserlis, Radu Lupu, Ferenc Rados and Tabea Zimmerman and currently teaches at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
Nicola Eimer (piano) has performed as a soloist and chamber music across Europe, Asia and America and has played at the major UK venues including the Barbican and Wigmore Hall. A graduate of New York’s Juilliard School and the Royal Academy of Music, Nicola has won the 2002 Royal Overseas League Chamber Music Prize with the Eimer Piano Trio and played with artists including Johan Dalene and Fenelle Humphries, her collaboration with the latter being described as “hugely rewarding” by the Observer and “an absolutely exquisite album” by BBC Radio 3’s Record Review.
