In the Stones is a new work that explores the connection of rural communities to their Parish Church. Using music, a variety of folk stories and historical customs and events our narrative slips seamlessly through time as we reveal a community space vibrant with lore and ready for revitalising.
Troubadour Stageworks was founded in 2017 with the aim of creating a stage in any space, and in so doing, supporting heritage venues and enabling emerging creatives to make exciting new theatre.
This will be a promenade performance, starting at St Andrew’s Church and ending at St Euny Church in Redruth. Come dressed for the weather, with stout walking shoes.
2pm – In the Stones Part 1 – St Andrews Church
2:50pm – Guided walk to St Euny Church with Cobweb Tours
3:50pm – Arrive at St Euny for hot drinks and refreshments
4:15pm – In the Stones Part 2 – St Euny Church
5pm – show ends and depart – bring a torch if you’re walking back!
