Five internationally acclaimed musicians with compelling performances of some of classical music’s most exciting chamber music.
An intimate evening of music by well-loved composers including Mozart, as well as more adventurous music by English composers Finzi and Bliss. Bringing talented young performers together with seasoned professionals from across the world, the musicians include Lesley Hatfield, leader of the BBC National Orchestra of Wales; up and coming young violinist Laura Lutzke; talented young viola player Adam Newman; distinguished chamber musician and soloist Alice Neary; Daniel Bates, principal oboe with the Irish Chamber Orchestra and the City of London Sinfonia.
The concert will be presented to appeal to audience members with no previous experience of classical music, as well as more seasoned attendees – including introductions to the music and the instruments. Concert presented in partnership with Carn to Cove and the Cavatina Music Trust, which is sponsoring ‘free’ tickets (1p) to those aged 26 and under.
