About the venue

Please arrive a little early to get a good viewing position. You are welcome to bring a folding chair or a cushion to sit on. Please note that the Fly Cellars is outdoors and safely protected by a wall/fence surrounding the space. However, it is situated directly by the sea with a sheer drop beyond the wall/fence, so all children are strictly the responsibility of their caregivers and must be supervised at all times. The Fly Cellars involves accessing uneven ground so please take care as you make your way into the space.

If you haven’t been to the venue before, follow this link to see the short walk from The Red Lion pub.

Please note, In the event of high winds or very wet weather, the show will be moved indoors. Please keep your eyes peeled on the event page for updates.

About the show

Don’t miss this free circus event for all the family…

Those in Glass Houses is a celebration of glass and all its fragilities.

Two of the most trustworthy jugglers around take on a giant pendulum and a ton of bricks, with the assurance of protective eyewear. Glass is kept safe in their hands. Brace yourselves for swinging bricks, comedy catapults and the orchestrated chaos of glass-shattering domino runs in this adventure of controlled destruction.

For over two decades, Matt and Owen have delighted audiences with their imaginative and often riotous exploits in the world of circus. Having crafted and toured many solo and group performances throughout Europe, they’ve seamlessly juggled everything from apples and crockery to fish and now glass. In addition to their on-stage expertise, Matt and Owen have taught in circus schools and led numerous community and school projects, passionately nurturing creativity and skill development.
