Named after one of the most historic and characterful streets in Penzance, the Chapel Street Ensemble was formed in 2021, bringing together leading professional musicians from Cornwall under the leadership of Timothy Dean. The Ensemble is committed to high quality performance, dynamic, varied and innovative programming, all within the context of informal, relaxed and informative presentation.
The Chapel Street Ensemble offers music for strings and clarinet and the ‘Classics for All’ programme includes music from Mozart, Dvorak and Herbert Howells, and lighter music from the 20th century.
In this series of concerts you can also experience Chapel Street Ensemble at Saltash Wesley Chapel and Chapel Street Winds at Treslothan Church.
